Pure Magic’s Emerging Leaders Program Opens Doors for Participants

Over the last year Pure Magic International Business Solutions implemented an Emerging Leaders Development Program into Air Terminal Services in Nadi, Fiji.

The program focuses on preparing individuals identified as potential leaders of the future. There is a clear focus on growing their skills and capabilities so that that they can take over from their current leaders.

It has been fascinating to see the transformations that have occurred.

One participant explains that at the start of the program, he was too fearful to speak up at any function. Whether it was professional or personal. Now he regularly makes presentations to large groups, is the coach of a soccer team and has even been appointed to the Board of a Committee at the 20,000 student strong Fiji National University. WOW!

Another even gained a promotion at work. Mainly due to his commitment to the role in conjunctions well the new skills he acquired.

In early June we watched the 15 participants deliver presentations to us about what they have gained from the program, which looks at topics such as supervising others, accidentally counselling staff, giving constructive feedback to staff, goal setting and facilitating groups, for example.
